About this position
A student status is required.
As intern you will deep dive into the sustainability landscape of our supply chain, including clients and suppliers. You will learn the ins and outs of sustainability GHG Emissions calculations as well as compliance with CSRD. The specific details of the assignment will be finalized in collaboration, and your inputs are welcome!

Key responsibilities
- Support the Sustainability Manager in running the farm-projects targeting CO2 reduction and water optimization.
- Support our Sustainability Network, which is collecting sustainability data and raising awareness around sustainability topics.
- Contribute to deliverables (research, charts, graphics, slides and other materials) including sustainability presentations and reports.
- Keep our Sustainability Content (internal and external comms) up to date.
Qualifications and skills
- Currently studying
- Full rights to work in Netherlands
- Strong interest for sustainability in the agri-food sector
- Data and research-driven
- Affinity for data analysis and presentation
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Curious and independent by nature
- Client focused and problem-solving skills
Duration of the internship
Minimum 6 months and max 8 months
Location and hours
We are based in Breda, Netherlands. Hybrid working is possible, not fully remote. Ideally, Mondays are office days – but we are flexible. We would like to welcome an intern who can commit a minimum of three or four days a week. If you are available full time, we would adjust the compensation accordingly. As an intern committing for a minimum of three days a week, you would be invited to visit our production sites in Spain, Belgium, and Poland. This internship aims to provide you with international travel experience & opportunities.
Offering
- This is a paid internship opportunity. The compensation depends on the number of days you are working as an intern. It ranges from 200-500 euros.
- Onboarding hours fully paid.
- You will, of course, be properly supervised during your internship placement and be given the scope of role for you to get the best out of yourself.
- A travel allowance if you don’t have a student travel card.
- An exciting internship program that includes international travel (Poland, Spain, Belgium).
